Pre and post fitness results for every student.
Students complete the same fitness battery at the start and end of the term, at home or on campus. eFit calculates VO2max, compares results with age and gender norms, and shows the change, student by student and section by section.
Faculty accounts are free. Student access is $59 per student, per semester.

Assessments sit beside the labs that explain them, such as the Heart Rate Zone Lab.
The default battery works for online students
Every test can be completed without lab equipment, so fully online sections assess the same way as campus sections. Assessment dates are set from your term dates when the course is built.
1-mile walk
A timed one-mile walk with heart rate, used to estimate VO2max, the standard measure of cardiorespiratory fitness.
Push-ups
Muscular endurance of the upper body, scored against age and gender norms.
Plank
Core endurance, timed, with the same pre and post comparison.
What the department gets at the end of the term
- A beginning-of-term and end-of-term result for every student, with the change shown per test
- Results compared with published age and gender norms on submission
- Section-level results that roll up across instructors
- Daily activity for the whole term alongside the fitness results
- A download of the results for your program review or self-study appendix
Because every section uses the same battery and the same schedule, results from different instructors can be compared on equal terms.
Term-long activity data sits next to the fitness results.
Students learn from their own numbers
The assessments connect to the course content. Students read about cardiorespiratory fitness, explore it in the 3D labs, measure their own, and reflect on the change in their PocketAI Journal.

What it costs
Faculty
Free
Your faculty account, the course template, and every report. No license fee for the department or the college.
Students
$59
$59 per student, per semester. Includes the eBook, the 3D labs, the Walking Journey, and activity tracking.

- Students buy access directly
- The campus bookstore sells an access code, so financial aid can cover it
- The department buys seats in bulk on one invoice or purchase order
Questions faculty ask
Which tests are included?
By default, the 1-mile walk with an estimated VO2max, push-ups, and a timed plank, with assessment dates set from your term dates.
Can online students complete the assessments at home?
Yes. None of the default tests need lab equipment, so fully online sections can assess the same way as campus sections.
How are scores interpreted?
eFit calculates VO2max from the walk, compares results with published age and gender norms when the student submits them, and shows the change from pre to post in absolute and percentage terms.
Can we compare sections?
Yes. When sections share the course template, they share the battery and schedule, and results roll up by section for the department.
What about students with disabilities?
Contact us before the term starts and we will walk through accommodation options with you and your disability services office.
