# eFit Software

> eFit automates physical education grading for colleges and K-12 schools. It reads student
> activity and nutrition from Google Health (read-only), scores it against the goals an
> instructor sets, and exports grades as a CSV that imports into D2L Brightspace, Canvas,
> Blackboard, Moodle, and Schoology. Faculty accounts are free; student access is $59 per
> semester, with no institutional license fee.

Key facts:

- Data source: Google Health (read-only scopes for activity/fitness and nutrition), plus Apple Health on iPhone. Any tracker that syncs to Google Health works, including Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, Samsung, Xiaomi, and Fossil. Students with no wearable can use a phone alone.
- Tracked measures: steps, active minutes, heart rate, pre/post fitness assessments (pushups, crunches, VO2max, BMI, 1-mile walk), and AI-generated workout and meal plans.
- LMS integration is a CSV score export that you download and import. There is no live sync or LTI connection.
- Compliance: FERPA, ADA/WCAG 2.2 accessibility work, 256-bit SSL, SSAE-16 certified hosting.
- Adoption: 50+ institutions. Current student totals are stated on the site itself.
